Investor ESG Communications Initiative
A dialogue about the biopharma environmental, social, and governance topics and related strategic communications with the capital markets.
The Biopharma Investor ESG Communications Initiative facilitates a dialogue between biopharma and investors, complemented by engagement with key sector stakeholders, to build an understanding on the environmental, social, and governance topics specific to the sector.
The Initiative insights are reflected in the Biopharma Investor ESG Communications Guidance -updated every few years- which is an educational resource for biopharma, investors, and key sector stakeholders that would like to understand the biopharma sector’s Sustainability landscape.
Over 150 executives from biopharma companies, investor organizations, as well as key stakeholder groups have engaged in conversations since 2018.

Biopharma Human Rights Focus Group
A conversation about the sector-specific drivers, trends, and current expectations of the human rights issues in biopharma.
The BSRT facilitates the Biopharma Human Rights Focus Group, bringing together interested BSRT member companies for peer discussions and engagement with external experts to explore and deepen understanding of biopharma-specific human rights issues, concerns, and priorities.
This work is essential to help the biopharma industry identify and address human rights risks, which are specific to the sector, align with global standards, and support business practices.
